I wrote that post title and then had to check and make sure it actually was Wednesday. I am not on top of things. It is a beautiful Wednesday here, and boy I bet you are not used to hearing me say nice things about the weather. Back in Wisconsin we received roughly 180 days of sun each year. Wyoming gets over 300. The trees are in leaf, people are mowing their lawns, and I appear to be less allergic to juniper than I was to maple. Win-win.

This picture has nothing to do with anything. I took it inside a Boot Barn store a few months ago. See, I have this problem. I am a shoe person. More specifically, a boot person. Before we moved I donated many pairs of shoes, but still moved about 20 pair across the damn country.

This was okay. This felt fine. But then I walked into the damn Boot Barn, site of several past incidents, and…

*They’re so pretty.* Amazon has them for less than what I paid and I’m just going to ignore that.

I don’t know why I just told you the boot story. Except to say that the Boot Barn is an evil, evil place that smells really good, like leather. They are not paying me to say this. The Boot Barn does not know who I am. That is for the best, I think.

Speaking of places that smell good, there is a health food store here that uses essential oil diffusers throughout the store. I need to ask what oils they use in the diffusers because you walk in and the next thing you know, you’re super relaxed and spending $14 on one bar of soap seems like the best idea you’ve ever had. Like, shit yes, $14 is a steal for one bar of soap!

(I didn’t buy the soap. Good sense prevailed.)

Anyway. I’m just rambling. When I finish rambling I’m going for a walk. I’ll try not to get turned around, but I have no sense of direction whatsoever. Then this afternoon my mom and I are going to do the Big Easter Shop. Instead of slapping a ham and some deviled eggs on the table like a normal person, I have to make 47 different things.

There will be many groceries. Wish me luck.

See you later!
