Poncho/wrap thingy. These are very technical knitting terms. Keep up.

I might not know what the heck it’s called, but it’s finally finished! Last week I complained about it taking forever, and I managed to finish it on Saturday.

The disgusting thing is…I got a knitting injury. Yes. Seriously. All of the repetitive motions hurt my wrist something awful. A knitting injury is like the pinnacle of nerdery. It’s right up there with getting injured playing ultimate frisbee.

Anyway. Here’s the pattern on Ravelry, and it’s free. My notes are here

This was an easy-peasy pattern. The problem is that it’s very repetitive. Very, very repetitive. And it’s over 5 feet long, so after awhile it just gets dull. This took me 3 months to knit, just because of the boredom. It was knit watching reruns of ‘Frasier’ and the occasional episode of ‘The Sopranos.’

There’s a loose piece of yarn sticking out in that picture and it’s driving me crazy. Just FYI.

See you later!

  1. Ouch! Hope your wrist heals soon. At least you hurt it while making a pretty and cozy poncho. It turned out great even if it was boring to knit.
