The leaves aren’t all down yet and there are still a lot of trees that haven’t turned, but a lot of the vibrant oranges and reds are gone. So I’m calling this one. And it was a good year!

Not bad. Not bad at all. I thought I had more pictures to put up, but a lot of them ended up in this post.

And so my favorite time of year is drawing to a close. When the tamaracks turn golden, then I know I’m up the creek – that means winter’s well on its way. Boo. Hiss.
