These were taken at my in-laws’ house. They have so many apple trees that the apples don’t always get picked and eaten before the hard frosts come. So they leave some for the deer – on the ground and in the trees.

  1. I read somewhere that frozen apples were great for making apple cider. They are supposed to be sweeter (like using frozen grapes for ice wine).

  2. Hope the deer don't break their teeth on the frozen apples! I thought 27 here this morning was chilly, but it would probably feel like springtime to you.
