The past few weeks it’s like the gods of clothing and accessories have vomited on my head. In a good way. Dresses and shoes have found their way into the closet, and one of my favorites is this green dress. Originally from Target (I’ll refrain from calling it Tar-jay so my sister doesn’t reach through cyberspace and strangle me) I snagged it at Goodwill with the tags still on for $9.00. I like the color, the shape, and the vintage inspired tie at the neck.

The other day I wore it shopping, with a cardigan and my Louis XV shoes. (Which a lady in Goodwill complimented, by the way, so I’m not the only one that likes the homely things.)

After a few hours of walking the shoes were rubbing the tops of my feet raw, so an emergency Goodwill stop was in order. I found these:

They’re not a typical choice for me, but they are leather (score!) and comfortable to walk in. That they were $5.99 was a bonus as well.

One of my favorite things in life is being overdressed, so this is a pretty typical shopping outfit for me. People look at me like I’m a whang-doodle, but that’s okay.

See you in a few days!
