I just noticed that I forgot to share pictures of the S’More Pie I made for Valentine’s Day. Because I am always on top of things.

This pie is from the Back in the Day Bakery cookbook, which you should really just go out and buy and accept the fact that you’re going to gain 452 pounds and die with a smile on your face. 
The meringue topping was a dream to work with. 

And there was a whole lot of it. 
Which was then toasted with a blowtorch. 
Like I said. BUY THE DAMN BOOK.

    1. Trust me, I usually have no luck with meringues. But this recipe was different, you heated the egg whites and sugar in a double boiler before beating them. I think that did the trick, I've never had meringue turn out so nicely.

  1. Oh my goodness! Doesn't that look yummy? No wonder your husband requested it for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, my husband has to stay away from sugar which is fine by him because he definitely does not have a sweet tooth. Something I've never understood.
