It’s been doing a lot of this lately,

so I’ve been doing a lot of this.

That’s the back and half the front of a knitted waistcoat. (How fancy.) The pattern is from 1944 and can be viewed here on Ravelry.

I’m still a beginner, so while I’m happy with how it’s turned out so far, it’s not without screw-ups:

I’ve knitted it using Lion Brand Fishermen’s Wool, and I like it quite a bit.

The waistcoat should be finished in the next few days, and I’ll post an update when I’ve finished it. That is, of course, if I don’t screw it up majorly before then.

  1. If you're a beginner, then I'm even more impressed. It looks like a smart way to spend cold snowy days and I have confidence your waistcoat will turn out great.
