In My Makeup Bag (Drugstore Finds)

I buy drugstore makeup for 2 reasons - 1) I'm cheap; so cheap that I pinch every penny until Abe Lincoln squeals, and 2) I don't wear makeup that often. And because you're supposed to toss your makeup every so often to keep it from becoming an Ebola petri dish, I always end up tossing out makeup that's barely been used. So I feel better about tossing it when it only cost me a few bucks.

Here are my current favorites:

Palladio rice powder in translucent, NYC lipstick in Air Kiss, NYC blush in Central Park Pink, Maybelline Fit Me foundation in 110, and NYC Show Time mascara. All of which can be found in big-box stores, except the rice powder, which I ordered from Amazon.

I'm not super crazy about the mascara - it does the job, but not as well as I would like. I love the blush, which is in fact not pink, but more of a coral color. Which does not come across in the photos, of course. But trust me. Coral. Peachy.

See you on Friday, where we shall have fun with photos taken with long exposures!
