This cabin is not the original house the Ingalls family lived in, but it is located on the land the family owned. This site was the setting for the book “Little House in the Big Woods”.

It’s official. I’d move in tomorrow.

    1. Pepin and the surrounding towns are all pretty small, but it's gorgeous – right on the Mississippi. You should be able to find hotels in Pepin or down the road to Durand. If you want to stay somewhere larger, Eau Claire is about 50 miles from Pepin.
